Description
Susan is a multigenerational Richmond native and has a strong appreciation for Richmond’s culture, diversity, and eclectic neighborhoods. She has witnessed firsthand the growth and change that has impacted the city and this brings a wealth of knowledge in all areas of Richmond real estate and the community.
Susan graduated from The Collegiate Schools, earned her BA from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College (Lynchburg), and has lived in the city of Richmond, Goochland, the West End, and the Far West End (think Short Pump when Broad was a two-lane street).
Susan was a stay-at-home mom to 3 children (Charlotte, Clay, and Rebecca) before obtaining her real estate license in 2012. Her father and grandfather were both builders, her mother worked for HHHunt for 22 years, her uncle was an interior designer and her brother is a real estate appraiser which made for an easy transition.
Susan has a passion for real estate and building relationships and is committed to her client’s personal objectives whether they are buying or selling through integrity, respect, and trust. She has been awarded the Accredited Buyer’s Rep (ABR) and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations. She has been active in the community volunteering and memberships include Junior League of Richmond, Junior Board of Children’s Hospital, Senior Board of Children’s Hospital, Collegiate Schools, Christchurch School, and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
When not assisting clients, Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, needlepoint, Netflix, and her pets.
With an emphasis on personal attention, technology, and marketing, Susan will tirelessly work to advocate and promote her clients' best interests throughout the transaction.
